BATTLE OF THE BANDS FINAL DEDICATED TO SUPPORT POST-HURRICANE SANDY

Despite the burden most of these men and women have encountered, the NYDP continues to mend the New York area.

The NYPD issued the following departmental update:

CRIME: There have been over 220 arrests for storm-related defenses. Burglary has risen by 2 percent. FRAUD: The NYPD reported that tow truck companies have taken advantage of those vehicles that were lost in the storm. Charges have been made for triple the amount when recovering your auto. SANITATION: Staten Island has been the center of this post-disaster. A 24-hour debris cleanup has been in affect, along with a recycle initiative.

Wall Street Rocks Battle of the Bands Final has dedicated the event efforts in aiding those affected by Hurricane Sandy. We also want to support NYC’s First Responder who are working to  bring New York back on its feet.
The proceeds raised from the event that they are having on Dec 4th  will go to The Salvation Army and Project Hospitality.

Both charities are directly aiding those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Wall street Rocks also wants to applaud and support NYC’s First Responder who are working to  bring New York back on its feet.

Wall Street Rocks Founders Rings The NASDAQ Bell

Wall Street Rocks would like to honor all of the folks who are staying strong and who have assisted in helping those less fortunate than themselves post Hurricane Sandy.

This past Thursday, November 1st, Wall Street Rocks Founders were asked to ring the opening bell for NASDAQ.
The occasion honored WSR because of their support of First Responders charities. More importantly NASDAQ honored the NYPD who are major part of the group of First Responders and who are always first on the scene in times of crises.
