BAND BIO

Damian Proulx

Saxophones and Vocals

Damian has been a part-time professional musician with cover and original bands since the early 1980s, playing in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.  He started with a Stax horn section in a Motown tribute band where he developed a love for vocal harmony and R&B. From there, Damian moved on to a ska-pop original group known as the Elements which played regularly at the legendary City Gardens in Trenton, New Jersey, and the Bitter End and Kenny’s Castaways in NYC.  In the 1990s and 2000s, Damian worked with local cover bands, including the Sensational Creations and the Diablo Sandwich Band, a 9-piece party band and frequent feature at Jersey Shore clubs, New Hope, Pa and private parties throughout the tristate area. Today, Damian covers saxes and backing vocals for River of Dreams, a Billy Joel tribute band playing outdoor festivals and other special events. Damian’s “daytime gig” is Director of Corporate Internal Communications for a global food ingredient company in New Jersey.

Scott is Chief Data Officer for Property & Casualty, Insurance Firm in New York City

Glenn Thompson

Keyboards and Vocals

Glenn was classically trained and played liturgical music until high school.  When certain song lyrics tempted him away from eternal salvation, he became a long-haired prog rocker.  When certain empty bank accounts tempted him away from the purity of original rock and roll, he played in a wedding band for 15 years.  He has backed Billy Hill (formerly of The Essex) and is one of the last people to have had a drink spilled on them by Jaco Pastorius. Glenn has worked for Financial Services firms for 30 years and is currently a partner at Enterprise Iron.
